THE PROCESS
The designer works individually on the project from start to finish. From the first meeting with the client to the final pressing and delivery, she wants you to know it is a personal endeavor and wants this to be an exclusive experience for the client.

INITIAL CONSULTATION
At your initial consultation you and the designer will meet to discuss your dream dress. What are your favorite silhouettes, colors and flower choices? Will your wedding be indoor or outdoor? This will be a brainstorming process to discover your personal choices.

Left with a good understanding of what you would like for your special day our designer will go to work designing a handful dresses for you to choose from on your next visit.

WORK IN PROGRESS
The designs: You will meet with the designer again to view illustrations of the designs customized just for you much like the ones you can see on the styles page of this website. Again you will discuss any additional desires and select your exclusive design. At the time of selection there will be a design fee assessed.

Your designer will discuss fabrics with you as well as any hand crafting that will be involved in the construction of the garment chosen. After the design is established you will be given a quotation. Upon your approval and a 50% deposit, the designer will commence in the transformation of your dream couture from paper into a three dimensional form and your one of a kind will begin to come to life.

Fitting #1: Your dress will be draped on a form in muslin. This stage will show the basic silhouette and style lines. The purpose of this fitting is to narrow down the fit and perfect the style lines for your approval.

Fitting #2: Your dress will be constructed in your chosen fabrics. This stage will show much more detail. Its purpose is to finalize design elements and make any adjustments to fit changes as well as hem length.

Fitting #3: Usually taking place shortly before the event, this is the final fitting. If you have a train this is when it will be bustled.

After all the details are complete including a final pressing of your dress, you will pick up your custom couture and disburse the remaining 50% for your one-of-a-kind gown.
